Not a year like another, we say. Isn't that true though about every year?
Does it matter that this one was filled with disease, loneliness, solitude and more loneliness? Does it matter that it was a crippling one? Yes it does.
Because this is the kind of year that unveils our humanity and capacity to cope. This is a year when we look for means to help us, this is the year when I realized how wonderful it is to be a designer, a creator, a maker of things.
Imagination is an exquisite gift and channeled through education and practice, the act of design is a powerful tool in creating a healing world around you.
